Following the success of the first edition, we are pleased to announce a Call for Book Chapters for the second edition of the book titled “Developments in Aquaculture: Trends, Challenges, and Applications: – 2nd Edition”.
Aquaculture continues to evolve rapidly in response to global challenges such as food security, climate change, digital transformation, and sustainability requirements. This second edition aims to expand and update the scientific scope of the book by focusing on emerging approaches, applied research, and interdisciplinary perspectives in aquaculture.
The book will bring together original research chapters and comprehensive review studies that contribute to both the scientific literature and real-world aquaculture practices.
Suggested Chapter Topics (but not limited to):
Authors are invited to submit chapters related to, but not limited to, the following themes:
*Smart and precision aquaculture systems
*Artificial intelligence, big data, and decision-support systems in aquaculture
*Climate change impacts and adaptation strategies in aquaculture
*Sustainable aquaculture management and policy perspectives
*Innovative water quality monitoring and modeling approaches
*Integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) applications
*Genetic improvement, genomics, and molecular tools in aquaculture
*Fish health, welfare, and disease management
*Circular economy and waste management in aquaculture
*Novel feed technologies and functional feeds
*Digital transformation and automation in aquaculture facilities
*Regional and country-based aquaculture case studies
*Socio-economic dimensions of aquaculture development
Important Information:
*All submitted chapters must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration
elsewhere.
*Each chapter will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
*The book will be published as Open Access by Global Academy Publishing House.
*The book will receive a DOI number and ISBN registration.
Submission Guidelines:
* Extended abstract (500–700 words) or full chapter proposals are welcomed.
* Final chapters are expected to be 6,000–8,000 words, including references.
*Chapters should be written in academic English and formatted according to the publisher’s
guidelines (to be shared after acceptance).
